Space Weather Policies and Plans (SW2P)
This WG addresses actions to contribute to the assessment of the national and international landscapes concerning Space Weather policies and plans and related issues and how they affect the European SWSC community. E-SWAN President and Vice-President are ex-officio members of this WG
Liaison Office (LIAS)
This WG is formed by people that already have roles in key institutions, such as: SCOSTEP, COSPAR, IAGA, IAMAS, IAU, IU, SCAR, URSI, IUGG, WMO, UNCOPUOS, EGU, EPS, etc. Their role is to represent E-SWAN in those tables and report to the Executive Board about initiatives within those institutions that are of interest to E-SWAN. E-SWAN President and Vice-President are ex-officio members of this WG.
In a context where natural resources are limited, the objective of this working group is to examine the environmental impacts of our activities, and to search for alternative, less damaging, ways of working. We aim at sharing information that empowers our community to make adequate choices to progressively reduce its carbon footprint and environmental impact.
