Marina Skender obtained PhD in Physics in Zagreb, Croatia. She researched as a DAAD scholar at the Leibniz Institute for Astrophysics Potsdam and was a postdoc at the Institute for Astronomy Hawai`i, Centre for Plasma Astrophysics at KU Leuven, School of Physics and Astronomy at QMUL and at the INAF-OAC. Marina is currently holding a position of senior advisor at the Air Quality Modelling, Research and Application Department of Croatian Meteorological and Hydrological Service in Zagreb, Croatia. Marina`s research interest is in interpreting and modelling the observations related to the solar, heliospheric and atmospheric phenomena.
