Dave Pitchford is an engineer working in the Commercial Space Industry, working to support the operation of a fleet of around 50 geosynchronous and 20 medium earth orbit spacecraft. Dave's prime responsibility is Spacecraft Survivability - analysing spacecraft anomalies and performing attribution where there is a potential Space Weather / Space Environment root cause. This work includes feeding lessons learned regarding Space Weather susceptibility into the specification, design and build of future spacecraft.
